We want you to enjoy your time at the Mundella EveryWoman Expo, so why not make it a real outing and extend it further by taking in a first-class meal at a nearby restaurant? It will give you time to chill and chat and mull over the highlights of the day. Perth is home to some exciting restaurants and the local food scene offers something for everyone.
Here’s a list of our favourites:
Ku De Ta
Opened just a few months ago, Ku De Ta offers inspirational international food. It’s a luxurious yet laid back dining destination with an interior that cost a cool $6,000,000 dollars. There are three different sections where you can eat: the Deck, the West and the Dining. Food is sourced from local produce; the Blue Ridge Marron is from Manjimup and the olive oil from Yallingup while the beef is from Gippsland.
Ku De Ta Marketing Director Alexandra Irving-Smith says you won’t be disappointed.
“My suggestion would be to sit on the Deck with a plate of oysters or eat a crab sandwich in the West. In Ku Dining my recommendation would be to select the violet dessert. Of course, you will need a great wine to rinse it all down and that would be a French 75.”

Long Chim
This place is renowned for its fantastic Thai dishes, which it has brought to the streets of Perth. Long Chim states that its food is made for sharing and is an ideal place for a group of ladies to gather.
“With shared dishes, you can eat as much or as little as you like” Venue Manager Katie Chan explains.
“Think Bangkok street market, and all that comes with it – there’s a vibrant array of dishes to share. My top choice would be the lamb ribs which are smoky, rich and fall off the bone. The Pomelo Spritz is a must, it’s our take on a classic with pomelo, grapefruit sherbet, aperol, vodka and bubbles, it’s a divine aperitif and works well with food.”

The Lucky Shag
Looking for hearty pub food and an extensive beverage offering? Then the Lucky Shag will be your destination of choice. It offers friendly personable service at reasonable prices. The char-grilled butterflied king prawns are a firm favourite.
Functions Co-ordinator Raignah Davin Brewer urges diners to soak in the sunshine on the deck.
“Take in a Stella Bella SSB which is a popular choice and if you fancy a cocktail, then the Watermelon Cooler jug is a refreshing fruity mix that really is the perfect drop.”

The Reveley
If you fancy a view from a rooftop then visit the Reveley in Elizabeth Quay. It’s one of the few places in Perth where you can enjoy a high tea, available Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but it needs to be booked in advance. Treat yourself to baked sweet and savoury delights with a selection of leaf teas, a glass of sparkling or a glass of Veuve Clicquot.
“Watching the sunset with a glass of the finest must be experienced” explains Events Manager Lowri Hickman.
“I recommend a Cosmos, but all our drinks are seasonally changed so you will never be disappointed. We use fresh seasonal produce in all our menus so come and pay us a visit and indulge in some delicious dining.”
We hope one of the above restaurants has tempted your tastebuds. If you don’t want to get back to the children, husband or empty house, then round off your day with a nice meal.
