Shout Out to YOU!

A mention to all the women that have struggled in the past, present, or future. We see you, you are beautiful and valued just as you are and deserve to feel empowered and confident in your own body.

From the good old catwalk days when there was a competition to see who can match the thinnest eyebrows with the thinnest waistlines. Women have been through all the motions, you’re too fat! you’re too thin! You just need to lose a few! where are the curves? Criticism after criticism with the overarching message that YOU are not enough, just as you are. Although have you noticed, over the past couple of years has there been a shift in the world? We are now advocating body positivity and diversity over perfectionism and trends.

If you compare the fashion industry from 5 even 10 years ago there have been shifts, major shifts. Companies and brands are now judged on how they can hold accountability and help drive that change from consumers having had enough and FINALLY pushing back. Online consumption is at an all-time high, and a number of studies have shown a correlation between activities like scrolling through social media and negative body image.

These studies just confirm the immense pressure and comparison that can be drawn from brand positioning and marketing to help every woman and man along their body positivity journey. As no one is perfect, our flaws are uniquely our own, this is the era for acceptance and unwavering support of body positivity and diversity.

Because let’s not forget, you are beautiful and valued just as you are. At TwoTags we hope to help empower and support every body shape to be active and feel confident in our diverse range of activewear.
