You may have had the dates for the Mundella EveryWoman Expo in your diary for a while now. Sure, you’ve gone online to get tickets, but before you arrive, make sure you sit down and plan your day. There’s a lot to experience, see and do all under one roof at the Expo. Here, the Sales Manager Sandra Giannone shares her five top tips to ensure your day is a success.
Don’t Drive Take Public Transport Instead
I always advise people to travel by public transport. If you take the train to Elizabeth Quay, you will arrive at the Perth Exhibition Centre where the Mundella EveryWoman Expo is held. We’re so close to the station. Perth was recently voted as having the best public transport system in Australia and it’s easy to see why; trains are reliable, comfortable and tickets are reasonably priced with concession discounts. By taking public transport you’ll avoid parking costs so you can spend the money you’ve saved at the Expo on goodies. By not driving you can also indulge in a glass of wine (or two) at our Mundella Café & Bar
Plan Your Day
I want your time at the Expo to be as enjoyable as possible. If there’s a group of you coming together, check to see what each of you wants to do so you don’t miss out. Jump online ahead of time and look at the program of talks and events so you know where you should be at any one time. Study a map of the different exhibitors and make note of where you want to go
Choose Your Day Carefully
I always advise Mums to come on a Friday. My recommendation is to drop the kids off at school and then get to the show by 10 am. You can wander at your own pace and there won’t be any children around. It’s slightly quieter. If you work in the city on Friday, chances are you may not want to come back at the weekend, so why not visit the Expo Friday evening after work has finished. The first 500 visitors through the door after 5pm will receive an exclusive showbag full of goodies, plus a glass of sparkling champagne compliments of Angove Winemakers.
If Pampering is a Priority Book Ahead
If you want to take advantage of the FREE services at the ‘Angove Beauty Bar’ or ‘Endota Spa Massage Lounge’, make sure you book early. Spots fill up very quickly and it’s easy to see why. Who wouldn’t love a back massage or beauty makeover at zero cost? My advice is to make a booking as soon as you arrive. This means you can be rest assured your spot has been reserved for later in the day. Places are snapped up and you won’t want to miss out.
Take Your Vouchers and Save
There are savings galore at the Mundella EveryWoman Expo. I suggest you do some research beforehand, so you can spot the bargains and make sure you check out our e-showbag specials, which are made available by the exhibitors. These can really reduce the cost of your shopping so remember to print out your favourite offers and don’t forget you have them. Why not make a list so you use them? It is very easy to get distracted when you are at the Expo!
